Mel stated many times that Martell was cheating before the show, and she told Carlos she didn't want to do the show when she found out lying ass Martell was still cheating. Carlos begged her to do the show and promised her that he would protect her. Like many women, Mel tried to save her marriage. They had kids and multiple businesses together. Yes, she stayed for 5 years and left when she realized he wasn't going to stop. Why get mad at a women who loved her husband and wanted her marriage to work? Most likely she called Coleslaw to set him up and bust his lying cheating ass.
